1 tbsp. coconut oil
½ c. onion, chopped or grated
½ c. organic celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 can kidney or black beans
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. sea salt
1 8 ounce can organic crushed Tomatoes
2 cans organic tomato sauce
½ lb. ground bison or grass fed beef, or organic ground turkey


In a large skillet melt oil and sauté onion, celery, garlic, and peppers until onion is translucent; 3-4 minutes. Add ground meat, oregano, chili powder, & cumin, continue cooking, stirring frequently, for 5-6 min. Pour salt & tomatoes & sauce into pot. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for a minimum of 1 hour for best flavor.
