Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care focuses on the Spine and Nervous system. Your brain communicates to all areas of the body through the nervous system in order to control function and healing. Essentially, your nervous system is the master control center of the body. Because of the relationship between the nervous system and your spine, chiropractic care focuses on the health of the spine in order to keep your nervous system functioning at its best.
While many people see chiropractors for a holistic, natural approach to pain relief, chiropractic care is ultimately for anyone wanting to have optimal health and function. Millions of people of all ages have been seeing chiropractors for over a century to promote overall well-being naturally.
Whether you are looking for symptom relief or a lifetime of wellness, chiropractic can help keep you at your best!
Spinal Decompression
Spinal Decompression takes the pressure off. It is a treatment method designed to increase the space between joints, reduce pressure on spinal discs, and improve nerve function. This technique involves gently stretching and relaxing the spine intermittently in a controlled manner, which generates negative pressure and facilitates improved oxygen and nutrient circulation to the spinal discs and joints. Over time, as the disc returns to its proper position, this can result in substantial and lasting relief from back and/or neck pain. Appointments are booked in 30-minute time slots. The total treatment time will vary depending on the concern being treated. During a treatment session, patients may lie on their back or stomach, depending on the individualized treatment plan. They are fastened to the table with straps or harnesses, and the table segments separate to apply a precise level of force as prescribed by the practitioner. Spinal decompression is known to be helpful for many different conditions including:
- Acute Disc Herniation or Bulging
- Substantial Arthritis with Decreased Disc Spacing
- Narrowing of Disc Spacing
- Numbness or Tingling in extremities
- Chronic Back and Neck Pain
- Sciatica / Pinched Nerve
- Decreased Range of Motion in spinal joints

Bowen Therapy
Bowen therapy is a soft touch manual therapy that works on the skin and underlying tissues which permeate the whole body – including organs – and influences pain, mobility, lymph flow, blood flow and nerves, glands, muscles, and joints. By stimulating the body-wide tissues (fascia) the body will respond, remember it’s self healing capacity and will adjust itself accordingly. No single symptom is addressed – but rather, the entire body will be considered and respond as it moves towards its natural state of balance (or homeostasis). Consequently, many health problems can be improved and resolved. Bowen will enhance the natural healing process overall with less pain, less irritation, and in less time. Jeannie has been training in and practicing Bowen since 2015 after receiving help for her own musculoskeletal issues which responded and resolved within only a few sessions.
